This is a beta version of literaturematic.com. All suggestions, corrections and comments are welcome.
Literaturematic.com is web-based literature software.
It provides information on defense economy literature according to various criteria.
For example, a researcher can obtain, by means of summary tables and graphics,
the variables, the parametric results and the models used in the studies that estimate
the defence expenditure by using different type methods in literature.
In addition, the researcher who uses this software of mine can learn the studies in which
these dependent variables have been used and the summary results of the study by using the links.
Also, if one likes to, one can reach the web address where the study is published.
One can also get hold of the country-based results.
Besides all these, we define a variable that can be regarded as a reflection of the political economy into the scientific studies.
The researchers will also have the chance to find out the country to which the data used by the settled researchers in any country belong.
On the other words, they can see which countries’ data sets are used by the countries by means of the researchers who did these research.
For example, a researcher will has the chance to see which countries’ the researchers making publications by using the data of Greece (GR) or (TR) are settled in.
As expected, it will be seen that the researchers of the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (US) have conducted most of the researches on all the countries.
This is attributable to the high number of universities there and to the fact that these countries have allocated a high share to such research and
that the researchers of other countries have conducted studies in the UK and the US for various reasons and taken their own countries as the subject of their studies.
However, the studies dealing with GR and TR are almost as many as the ones dealing with the UK and the US.
While the researchers of the UK and the US do studies on GR and TR, those of GR and TR have done a lot of studies,
and so have the researchers who have used the data of the counterpart countries. As a result, this part provides interesting information from this and other perspectives.
One of the most important features of this software is that the results obtained are not essay-based, but analysis-based.
If there is more than one analysis in a study, and for example 10 different regressions have been run, all of them have been taken into account separately.
